Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma previously announced that it would stage the first ever production of the new musical TRIANGLE, written by three of musical theatre's brightest young composers. The show will be directed by Lyric's Artistic Director Michael Baron and feature original music by Curtis Moore (music and book), Thomas Mizer (lyrics and book) and Joshua Scher (book) and a cast of Broadway stars and local favorites. The production will run from today, March 26 through April 5 at the Plaza Theatre.

Rubicon's November/ December HOLIDAY CENTRAL calendar offers a sparkling array of more than 35 shows and events for all ages. The producers of 'Grind' have announced Pasha Pellosie has joined the project as their final lead, Thane. A relative newcomer, Pasha has been on The Carrie Diaries and Law and Order: SVU. He joins previously announced Anthony Rapp (RENT) and Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) in this independent musical short film.

Second Stage Theatre's Spring Gala celebration honored The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation, which has been an ongoing supporter of New York City arts and Second Stage Theatre for many years, as well as playwright and filmmaker Paul Weitz, whose plays Privilege, Show People, Trust, and Lonely, I'm Nothave all premiered with the off-Broadway company. The evening will also celebrate the first ten years of Second Stage Uptown and its curator, Christopher Burney, which has become an incubator for many theatre artists in the past decade. The gala was held last night, May 20, 2013 at Best Buy Theatre, 1515 Broadway at 44th street.
