The boys of BROMANCE have announced that they will welcome Jason Tam (One Life to Live, Lysistrata Jones, Chorus Line) and Jenn Colella (Chaplin, Urban Cowboy, High Fidelity) to the fraternity! Tam and Colella have just come on board to join the cast of BROMANCE: IN CONCERT as the Bros take over Joe's Pub on Thursday, August 22nd at 7pm.

Billy Porter, 2013 Tony Award Winner for Best Actor in a Musical (Kinky Boots) surprised students of Broadway Artists Alliance Summer Intensive Session One with his appearance on July 25th. Porter entertained the students with tales of his experiences. In addition, he participated in a Q&A, answering student's questions and providing advice for young performers. Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert visited students at Broadway Artists Alliance Alumni Session to share his journey from young actor to Tony Award Winner. Coming up at 54 BELOW, the performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz and beyond. 54 Below also launched its series of late night events. Joining Tuesday nights' popular "Backstage" with Susie Mosher is the "54 Piano Bar," a new vocal competition - 'The Callback," and more, including: stage and television star Laura Benanti, High Fidelity in Concert, WGBO Jazz Series: Karrin Allyson Quartet, Tony winner Frances Ruffelle, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band, Sondheim Unplugged and Simply Streisand.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten has announced casting for the 2013 summer season's exciting slate of productions. On the Main Stage, the cast of Animal Crackers (playing June 26 - July 14, 2013) will include Jonathan Brody (Naked Boys Singing), Adam Chanler-Berat (Peter and the Starcatcher), Mara Davi (Death Takes a Holiday), Renee Elise Goldsberry (Good People), Ellen Harvey (How to Succeed...), and Jacob Ming Trent (Hands on a Hardbody), all making their WTF debuts.

The District Stage Company will present Broadway Unplugged, described as an evening packed with songs from electrifying shows to hit the Great White Way in recent decades, with Broadway stars Rebecca Naomi Jones, Adam Chanler-Berat, Matt Caplan and Andy Señor Jr., under the musical direction of Jared Stein, with special guest Matt Nakoa, for three performances only on Friday, March 29 at 8:30 PM, and Saturday, March 30 at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM at South Miami Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 Street in Cutler Bay, FL.

Peter and the Starcatcher, the five-time Tony Award-winning play by Tony Award-nominee Rick Elice, will play its final Broadway performance today, January 20, 2013, ending its nearly year-long run. Directed by Tony Award-winner Roger Rees and Tony Award-nominee Alex Timbers, Peter and the Starcatcher began performances on March 28, 2012, and opened April 15, 2012, and is playing at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Before the production lands in its new home at off-Broadway's New World Stages this March, BroadwayWorld takes you on a journey through Starcatcher's beginnings (and ending) on Broadway!
