Two-time Tony nominated Best Actress Laura Osnes visits Broadway Artists Alliance Junior and Alumni Only Summer Intensives on July 16th. Osnes provided feedback to students as well as participated in a Q&A. Check out a look back at the event below!

"It's really special to see so many talented people with such drive and such determination coming to New York and taking these workshops, learning and growing from them, and going back into their communities better people and artists," said Osnes regarding her interaction with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. "It [Broadway Artists Alliance] is empowering."

Osnes' star has risen quickly since winning the lead role of Sandy in the Broadway revival of Grease in 2007. Other Broadway credits include Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie Parker), Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), and most recently Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella where she received a Tony nomination for her performance in the title role.

On June 23rd, Osnes spoke at the Cinderella themed Master Class. The Broadway Artists Alliance, founded with the goal of providing professional-level training to talented young artists, enlists the services of Broadway performers, Tony Award winners, and top industry professionals. Students enjoy a wide range of experiences in vocal training, scene study, and various types of dance among the many offerings. BAA offers three Summer Intensive Sessions and one Alumni Only Session with ages ranging from 8 to 21.

The Broadway Artists Alliance master class series continues with a Wicked-themed Master Class (Jul. 28), Phantom/Les Miserables-themed Master Class with Sierra Boggess (Aug. 4), and a Last Five Years-themed Master Class with Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe (Sept. 22).
