Playwright and stage director, Emilio Williams, will receive two simultaneous productions of his works in Chicago. Born in Madrid, Spain, he is considered one of the leading new voices of the Spanish stage; he moved to Chicago in 2011, the city where his father was born and grew up. In this city, he founded The Chicago Theater Sweatshop, an international troupe dedicated to develop cross-cultural theater projects.

In that spirit, Chicago's all-Latina theatre company bursts into its 12th season with the induction of a slew of new Latina talent.

The International Voices Project will present their first performance of 2012, THIRD WING (TERCER CUERPO) from Argentina, on Tuesday May 8 at 7pm at the Instituto Cervantes of Chicago, 31 West Ohio St., in collaboration with Instituto Cervantes and the Consulate General of Argentina in Chicago. Written by Claudio Tocalchir, translated by Jean Graham-Jones and directed by Emilio Williams, the play is free and open to the public.
