Premier Dancer Abigail Prudames will retire from Northern Ballet this June, after being part of the Company since 2011. 

Five years since its premiere, Kenneth Tindall’s Casanova remains a distinctive and highly engaging addition to Northern Ballet’s repertoire. It’s danced with confident storytelling by its cast and Christopher Oram’s set design is glossy and slick and of course, it’s pretty hot, this is all about seduction not smut. It’s only foible remains the heft of the narrative.

Following an exciting inaugural year that included performances in Birmingham, and in London at the Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler's Wells, dancers of the first-ever Elmhurst Ballet Company hand over the reins to the 2019 a?" 2020 graduate year students and bid farewell to Elmhurst Ballet School, the associate school of Birmingham Royal Ballet, as they continue their professional paths with a range of dance opportunities in the UK and overseas.
