BroadwayWorld has just confirmed additional casting for the upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof: ALIX KOREY (All Shook Up, Chicago) will play Yente, SAMANTHA MASSELL (La Boheme) will play Hodel, BEN RAPPAPORT (“Mr. Robot,” Picnic) will play Perchik, and ALEXANDRA SILBER (Master Class) will play Tzeitel. In addition, JESSICA VOSK (The Bridges of Madison County) will play Fruma Sarah, AARON YOUNG will play Sasha, and JULIE BENKO (Les Misérables), JESSE KOVARSKY (The Death of Klinghoffer), and SILVIA VRSKOVA will also join the cast.

Park Avenue Armory announced today that the Thompson Family Foundation has given $65 million to kick-start a programming endowment that will allow the Armory to expand the range and number of groundbreaking works in the performing and visual arts it presents, as well as the scale and reach of its arts education initiatives for underserved public school students.

Park Avenue Armory today announced the appointment of Pierre Audi as Artistic Director. A critically acclaimed director and artistic director, Audi will continue to lead the Dutch National Opera, a role he has held since 1988 while also serving as Artistic Director of the Holland Festival in Amsterdam from 2004 until 2014. He previously was the founding Artistic Director of the pioneering Almeida Theatre in London. Audi will join Park Avenue Armory in October 2015 to begin planning its 2017 season.

Inspired by Jonathan Safran Foer's enigmatic and eponymous novel,Tree of Codes distorts conventional perceptions of space and time, through manipulation of light, reflection, sound, and movement. The work will be performed by a company of soloists and dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet and Company Wayne McGregor.

Trusty Sidekick Theater Company (TSTC) will perform back-to-back presentations of two original immersive productions created for school and family audiences, presented during the Company's time as Artists-in-Residence at Park Avenue Armory.

In 2009, the Fulton Theatre production of LES MISERABLES broke all previous Fulton box office records and its sold-out run was extended two weeks. Now, it appears that history is repeating itself, and the Fulton is responding by extending the run of its upcoming production of LES MISERABLES until July 13, 2014, two weeks after its previously announced closing date.

The 20th Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit took place on July 27, 2013 at the The Watermill Center in Water Mill, NY. This June, Park Avenue Armory unveils a new large-scale installation and video project by artist Paul McCarthy, considered among the most provocative and influential voices in the international art world today. Drawing inspiration from the 19th-century German fairytale Snow White and McCarthy's ongoing exploration of American myths and icons, WS takes over the Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall from today, June 19 through August 4, 2013, and marks the Armory's seventh major visual art installation to date.
