FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook, which took place on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut, will be airing on select public television stations throughout the tri-state area. An hour-long version of the concert will premiere tonight, July 18 at 10 p.m on WLIW21, Friday, July 26 at 10 p.m. on THIRTEEN and CPTV, and Tuesday, July 30 at 10 p.m. on NJTV. 'From Broadway With Love' was a concert of healing for the Newtown community where composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway came together with over 300 students from several Newtown dance groups, the Sandy Hook Elementary School 3rd and 4th grades and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir.

The cast and creators of the Tony nominated musical Hands On A Hardbody were cheered and celebrated when they performed at Birdland on Monday night during the weekly Jim Caruso's Cast Party open mic extravaganza. Co-writer Amanda Green (Tony-nominated for her Hardbody work, as well as Bring It On), Tony nominee Keala Settle, as well as Kathleen Monteleone, Jim Newman, and Jay Armstrong Johnson all sang from the show, guaranteeing some future record sales just from the few hundred folks enjoying Cast Party. 'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm tonight, January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund.

HBO to Develop New WWII Miniseries with Steven Spielberg & Tom Hanks

HBO has finally announced its follow-up to the previous miniseries BAND OF BROTHERS and THE PACIFIC. The latest entry comes as an adaptation of Donald Miller's nonfiction piece, MASTERS OF THE AIR - with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks set as executive producers. The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news.

HBO Considering Reviving BAND OF BROTHERS for Third Season

As The Playlist reported earlier today, HBO is considering bringing back the critically acclaimed BAND OF BROTHERS for a third run on television. The first series aired in 2001, followed by the followup series, THE PACIFIC, in 2010.

Spike TV will salute America's heroes this Memorial Day with a 12 hour BAND OF BROTHERS marathon that will feature an opportunity for viewers to send messages to troops and veterans that will run on-screen. Today, May 28 (9:00am-9:00pm ET/PT), viewers can post personal comments and thoughts via Spike's Facebook page that will be streamed live on-screen honoring our brave soldiers.

The creator/producer of The Broadway Ballyhoo, Scott Siegel, announced today that this evening's performance of The Broadway Ballyhoo at Feinstein's (Park & 61st Street) will begin the FIFTH MONTH of this critically acclaimed and popular musical revue series. The show starts at 11pm.
