Thirteen of the most strapping men on Broadway will come together to add a little more sexiness and silliness to the holiday season at Ann Harada's festive cabaret, Christmas Eve's Holiday Hunkfest (#hunkfest), on Monday, December 12, 2016.
As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Rob Ashford just directed a private industry reading of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas with an all-star cast, including Broadway favorite Kristen Chenoweth. Now according to her recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the show might go on to have a life on Broadway. She explains: 'I think there is financing in place and I think it has to be a decision we can make and I have another show that I'm involved with about Tammy Faye Bakker. It's all about timing.'
BroadwayWorld has just learned that there will be a private industry reading today, June 29, of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, with direction by Rob Ashford.

Take a trip back in time to one of the greatest decades for pop music - the Eighties - with the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra (HSO) at Totally 80s on Friday, May 6 at 7:30 pm. Maestro Stuart Chafetz conducts and hosts this jam-packed night that celebrates the music of the Eighties - a decade of fantastic music and fashion. Vocalists Aaron Finley and Nicole Parker join the HSO for songs made famous by icons such as Elton John, Phil Collins, TOTO, Cyndi Lauper, Sting, Lionel Ritchie, Michael Jackson and many more.

Presented by Showmance Productions, the evening featured ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast members from opening night to closing night, as well as band members from the show's fictional rock band, Arsenal. Directed by Matthew DiCarlo and with music direction by Henry Aronson, The concert included songs from bands like REO Speedwagon, STYX, Pat Benatar, Foreigner, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and more!

Delaware Theatre Company serves up a musical adaptation of a classic film with the upcoming production of DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall, DINER earns a four week run at Delaware Theatre Company from December 2 and has already been extended through January 3, 2016. December 12, marked the official opening night.
Set in Baltimore during 1959, DINER follows a circle of childhood friends who confront the realities of adulthood in the one place they know they will always be welcome: the all-night diner.
