First Folio Theatre, at Mayslake Peabody Estate, 31st St. & Rt. 83, begins its 2013-2014 season with the poignant, romantic drama THE RAINMAKER, which opened Saturday, August 3 at 8:15 p.m. and runs through September 1, 2013 on the outdoor stage. Milwaukee Repertory Theater announced casting today for I Left My Heart: A Salute to the Music of Tony Bennett, the first production to open The Rep's 60th Anniversary 2013/14 Season, Venus in Fur, coming to the Stiemke Studio in late September, Forever Plaid, opening at the end of October in the Stackner Cabaret and Noises Off, the second production in the Quadracci Powerhouse this season.

THE QUIET MAN TALES, a riveting new play presented by Smock Alley Theater Co., in conjunction with Mavin Productions II and Pullinsi & D'Angelo Productions, will make its world premiere at The Chicago Theatre Downstairs, 175 N. State Street, previewing March 6 and opening Sunday, March 22 with performances at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and running through May 24. Susan Felder will direct.
