Le Petit Theatre recently announced the appointment of AJ Allegra as its new artistic director. Allegra was selected after a national search by Management Consultants for the Arts and has been in the position since August 1.

Rivertown Theaters is getting ready to present a spectacular lineup of productions for the 2016-2017 season beginning with 'Let The Good Times Roll' starring the Big Easy Buddies opening September 9.

Three-time Big Easy Award-winning director Mark Routhier ("One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", "Balm in Gilead") will direct and Big Easy Entertainer of the Year Cecile Monteyne will star as the controversial queen.

This spring, the New Orleans Museum of Art and the NOLA Project present their ninth collaboration, giving new life to a classic story in the New Orleans Museum of Art's (NOMA) Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden.
