ABC has renewed its freshman hit ONCE UPON A TIME for a second season. Co-creator Adam Horowitz broke the news via his Twitter feed this afternoon: 'It's official -- #OnceUponATime has been picked up for season 2. Thank you all so much for watching, we're beyond thrilled to continue on!'

But when Henry -- the son she gave up years ago -- finds her, all that changes. Henry, now 10, is in desperate need of Emma's help. He believes Emma comes from an alternate world and is the missing daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming who was sent away, according to his book of fairytales, to protect her from the Evil Queen's curse. That curse has trapped the characters of fairytale world, frozen in time, and brought them into our modern world.
