When you take on an iconoclastic production such as Jonathan Larson's RENT, you either have a whole lot of talent in your back pocket, or you are just plain ludicrous. Fortunately for Shadowbox Live, it was a case of the former that resulted in a fantastic opportunity to see this incredible story about Bohemians in Alphabet City, NYC struggling with life, love and AIDS, brought to life in local form.

The Theater Barn has announced two new workshops this winter. Due to overwhelming popularity, Susan Grace Cohen is returning to offer Developing Your Acting Career, an 8-week course of classes beginning Saturday, January 21st. In addition, after countless requests, Rick Hodder is offering a Fundamentals of Improv workshop, beginning Sunday, February 12th.

A&E presents the new original real-life series 'Shipping Wars,' which follows six independent shippers who have discovered that fortunes could be made transporting items that traditional carriers won't touch. The 10-episode half-hour series begins with back-to-back episodes Tuesday, January 10 at 9PM and 9:30PM ET/PT.
