Montblanc presented THE 24 HOUR PLAYS ON BROADWAY's 10th anniversary production last night, November 14, 2011. An annual benefit event produced by the 24 Hour Company and Freestyle Picture Company for Urban Arts Partnership, THE 24 HOUR PLAYS ON BROADWAY attracts some of entertainment's biggest names as they join forces to participate in an extreme rite of theater: writing, directing, and performing 6 original short plays, all in just 24 hours. Now in its eighth year The 24 Hour Plays Celebrity Gala is one of the most exhilarating and glamorous evenings in London's theatre calendar. Set to participate in this year's event are: Jane Asher, Nancy Carroll, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Lily Cole, Brendan Coyle, Mackenzie Crook, Lisa Dillon Freddie Fox, Robert Glenister, Anthony Head, Ruthie Henshall, Mathew Horne, David Horovitch, Gina McKee, Sophia Myles, Katherine Parkinson, Julian Sands, Rachael Stirling, Isy Suttie, and Indira Varma.

On March 7, The 24 Hour Company teamed with the Exchange to produce The 24 Hour Musicals at The Gramercy Theatre. Four brand new musicals were written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day, featuring an star-studded line up of Broadway performers, composers, writers, directors, choreographers and musical directors. Creative director Ted Sperling (musical director of Light in the Piazza, South Pacific and Guys & Dolls), led some of the theatre's brightest talent from Broadway, film and television as they collaborated under one roof, in one day, to create original musical theatre. BroadwayWorld was on hand and brings you coverage of THE WORLD IS ENDING starring Anthony Rapp.
