GLEE Extends Nationwide MySpace Casting Call Through 4/29

With 28,000 auditions, 18 million video views and 85 million gold stars already given to the hopefuls, the response to the GLEE open casting call on MySpace has been so overwhelming that the submission window is being extended by one day starting today, Wednesday, April 28 at 12:00 PM PST, and closing tomorrow, Thursday, April 29 at 11:59 AM PST. Now even more amateur and professional performers will have the opportunity to submit an audition video exclusively on MySpace at myspace.com/gleeauditions. That means if you haven't submitted your audition video yet, then you still have time!
GLEE Ratings Continue to Soar After 'Home' Episode

According to Deadline.com, GLEE has officially become the highest-rated new scripted series of the season after last night's huge ratings. Deadline.com states that GLEE 'averaged a 5.3 rating/14 share among adults 18-49 after American Idol, flat from last week's heavily promoted Madonna episode.'

While not perfect, this week's episode of GLEE finally goes in a new direction that points to a promising future for the series. Though still inconsistent in tone and unbalanced in attention to the cast as an ensemble, GLEE is finally beginning to find a 'Home.'

GLEE Dancers Get Injured on Set

According to a report by E! Online, filming on TV's mega-hit GLEE came to a hault on Wednesday when three dancers were injured. Three back-up dancers were given first aid kits after sustaining injuries from the strenuous dance routine featured in the finale episode, which will focus on the choral competition between the rival high schools. Fame star Debbie Allen's daughter, Vivian Nixon, was one of the dancers who got hurt that day after colliding with a camera.
