GLEE Smashes Another Billboard Record

The cast of pop-culture phenomenon GLEE has broken the music record for the most single entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, claiming the title previously held by the 'King of Rock and Roll,' Elvis Presley. Having covered hit tracks by chart-topping artists including Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Madonna and Journey, GLEE now holds the record for 113 single entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart - exceeding Elvis' 108, James Brown's 91, Ray Charles' 74, Aretha Franklin's 73 and The Beatles' 71 entries.

Brooke Shields Makes Cabaret Debut at Feinstein's, 2/1-12

New York native and stage and screen star, Brooke Shields, will make her solo cabaret debut on Tuesday, February 1 at Feinstein's at Loews Regency. Under the direction of Mark Waldrop, Ms. Shields will present In My Life, an intimate look into the life of the actress, from her early days as the 'Ivory Soap baby' to now. She will share stories from her incredible journey in show business in an evening that will feature some of her favorite pop songs, those from previous Broadway appearances, and selections from the upcoming Broadway musicals, Leap of Faith, by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, and Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich's Ever After, a musical adaptation of the 20th Century Fox Film.

According to TVGuide.com, ABC sitcom Modern Family will get the musical treatment this spring, when Cameron, played by Eric Stonestreet, tries to teach students about musical theatre. Stonestreet revealed that his character 'wants to introduce them to musical greats like Bernstein and Sondheim.'

Oxygen's GLEE Marathon Earns 4.4 Million Viewers

Oxygen reached 4.4 million viewers over the course of 12 hours during its first-ever 'Glee' marathon on Saturday, February 5. The GLEEKEND broke records among total viewers and in all key demos, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 'Glee' marathon was Oxygen's best Saturday 11am-11pm timeperiod ever among total viewers (885,000), A18-49 (453,000), A18-34 (270,000), W18-49 (291,000) and W18-34 (168,000), growing double and triple digits (vs. prior 4 week period). In prime, 'Glee' averaged over one million total viewers. The marathon drew more than one million total viewers during the airing of three separate telecasts at 4pm ('Grilled Cheesus'), 8pm ('The Substitute') and 10pm (Special Education'). The marathon peaked in the 8pm hour among A18-49 (564,000) and the 10pm hour among total viewers (1.079 MM). Additionally, Oxygen ranked within the top five ad supported cable entertainment networks in every single hour of the marathon, in at least one demo.

Budd Friedman and Mark Lonow's world-famous Improv Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas showcases a different marquee of acts each week. Guy Torry takes the stage tomorrow through Sunday, with supporting acts Larry Brown and Lachlan Patterson. Improv shows are at 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.05 (plus applicable taxes) or $44.95 (plus applicable taxes) for VIP tickets that include special seating, an Improv t-shirt and post-show meet-and-greet with the comics. Delivering triple-digit growth (up +120% vs. last 4 week period) among A18-34, Oxygen achieved its best 11am to 11pm Saturday time period among A18-49 (452,000), W18-34 (291,000), A18-34 (270,000) and total viewers (885,000). Additionally, the marathon drew more than 1 million total viewers during the airing of three separate episodes at 4pm ('Grilled Cheesus'), 8pm ('The Substitute') and 10pm (Special Education').
