Later tonight, The New York Pops - a symphonic orchestra known for presenting popular programs of exceptional quality - will launch its 32nd season at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage with All You Need is Love: The Music of The Beatles. Music Director Steven Reineke - described by The New York Times as a 'polished, welcoming host' who is 'young and vigorous, with a playful attitude' - will lead the orchestra in an opening night celebration of The Beatles' greatest hits recreated by the acclaimed Finnish vocal ensemble Rajaton. The concert will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's arrival in America. Concertgoers can expect to hear fresh renditions of Beatles songs including 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,' 'Yesterday,' 'She Loves You,' and 'Let It Be,' among others.
