From: Photo Flash: First Look at THE FANTASTICKS at Theatre ThreeReturning to Theatre Three on the Norma Young Arena Stage for its ninth incarnation, The Fantasticks is an inexorable part of Theatre Three's history. Written by two graduates of the University of Texas at Austin (and originally directed by a Texan!), this American jewel of a musical comedy is a timeless romantic tale of a boy, a girl, and their fathers' schemes to get the two married. Manhattan's longest running musical, The Fantasticks features a musical comedy score that sparkles with wit, including favorites like "Try To Remember, " and "Soon It's Gonna Rain."
