Rosie Hill

I have been directing since the age of 15 and have since been involved in numerous plays, musicals, concerts and cabarets. I have continued to gain experience throughout completing my degree program in English Literature and Film Studies at Southampton University.

I have explored a wide variety of roles within the arts, from director of continuity in film, to casting assistant in commercials, stage manager of theatre productions, and producer of musicals. I enjoy all areas of the production process, in particular in theatre. The energy and thrill of theatre with the immediacy of an audience cannot be rivalled, even if your role is behind the curtain.

But my current area of particular interest is Casting. While I revel in all stages of the production, nothing quite beats the excitement of finding a new cast for a show, film, commercial or musical. You never know quite who is going to walk through that door next...
