To raise the final funds needed for their fall productions of Claire and Paul Sifton's 1931- (The Living Theatre, Oct 4-21) and Dawn Powell's Big Night (Shetler Studios, Nov 28th-Dec 3rd), the ReGroup Theatre is receiving a 2.5 hr tutored wine tasting event thrown by the Moore Brother Wine Company tonight, Sept 5th, 2012. The event will be held at the Moore Brothers, 33 E 20th St, NYC from 6-8:30. On Monday, August 6th, 2012, at 7 PM, ReGroup Theatre presents the first fully-staged public reading of Nellise Child's 'bitter comedy' WEEP FOR THE VIRGINS in 77 years. The reading celebrates the first-ever publication of the play, along with the first publication of Robert Ardrey's Casey Jones and Mr. Ardrey's classic Group play Thunder Rock.
