For thousands of years, wine has inspired creativity and evoked emotions. There have been gods dedicated to it and cults born from it. Few have poeticized it better than Lord Byron when he said, “Wine cheers the sad, revives the old, inspires the young, and makes weariness forget his toil.” Now, in a new show created by director Mark Swanhart, wine and dance are joined in a marriage of sensory and sensual perfection. SAVOR After Hours conveys Swanhart’s vision of encompassing all five senses while experiencing the pleasure of a glass of wine. He shares with us that, “when I drink a glass of wine, so much more is going on…a feeling, a memory, an emotion. So, the idea was to take the audience on that ride.”

The 9th Annual World Choreography Awards (WCA) celebrate creativity and innovation by recognizing global excellence in the art of choreography in movies, TV, music video and digital media. Based on works completed in 2018, the winners of eight categories will be announced at the Red Carpet Ceremony on November 11 at The Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. BROADWAY IN THE 'BU! presents DOWN WITH LOVE, the Inaugural Concert Gala for the Malibu Theatre Collective (MTCO). Come to an intimate evening of acoustic Broadway tunes that are sure to get you in the mood for love. This will be a concert unlike anything you've seen before! Jennifer Foster teams with Malibu Playhouse and co-producers Adam Glover and Tyler Burk to present 'Down With Love' a concert on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 17th at 8PM at Malibu Playhouse (benefitting Malibu Playhouse. All proceeds from the show will go toward future productions at the Playhouse.

Flicker House Productions, headed by Brian Purcell, in association with the Ricardo Montalban Foundation will present THE QUESTION, an Indie Rock Ballet based upon J.T. Horenstein's experience while serving on a jury for a first degree murder trial. It is a full length, story-driven theatre piece, entirely danced to a progressive, independent rock score. Horenstein is the director and choreographer of this dynamic, entirely original idea, leading twenty-six dancers through this dark journey of murder and intrigue.
