Yale School of Drama presents the tenth annual Carlotta Festival of New Plays, May 8-15 at the Iseman Theater (1156 Chapel Street,). The Carlotta Festival is comprised of three fully-produced plays by graduating playwrights performed in repertory of twelve performances over eight days.
?On Friday, the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center welcomed hundreds of artists, donors, patrons, and public figures to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of its expanded campus. Designed by Centerbrook Architects and with lead support from the State of Connecticut and private donors, the O'Neill campus now boasts eight new cottages and a new rehearsal hall with composition and dance studios, creating living, rehearsal, and production space for an additional 65 artists on the O'Neill's historic seaside campus in Waterford, CT.

Mr. Gelb passed away on May 20.

(The production marks the 23rd collaboration for Sullivan and Fuqua, who have worked together at Rubicon on productions including Hamlet, You Can't Take It With You and Old Wicked Songs.) Other cast members are Rebekah Tripp, Granville Van Dusen, Scott Roberts and Matthew Grondin.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Liv Ullmann has joined the Norwegian cast of Eugene O'Neill's LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT. The Tony and Academy Award winning actress has been recently focusing on directing movies and stage productions. Ullmann's broadway credits include: ANNIE CHRISTIE, A DOLL'S HOUSE, GHOSTS, and I REMEMBER MAMA.
