From Harrisburg, PA, Rebecca has enjoyed spending her free time at the surrounding community theatres portraying a wide range of characters! Hopes to eventually work with some regional theatres and see where she goes from there!
The Belmont Theatre will produce the musical "Into the Woods" on their main stage February 16-18 & 22-25. Experience the music of Stephen Sondheim as a witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with finding magical items to reverse the curse put on their family tree. They encounter a variety of fairytale characters whose wishes seem to come true by the end of Act One. Cinderella marries the prince, Jack's cow produces milk, and the baker and his wife now have a child...The consequences of their actions return to haunt them in Act Two with disastrous results as a giant enters the story and they try to unravel their now twisted fairytales. The musical won multiple Tony awards including Stephen Sondheim for best score and James Lapine for best book.
PETER AND THE STARCATCHER has landed at The Playhouse at Allenberry in Boiling Springs, with all the 'starstuff' required for an imaginative feast, and performed fantastically by the talented actors of Keystone Theatrics.
'When I was a boy, I wished I could fly.' With these words, Peter and the Starcatcher, a grownup's prequel to Peter Pan, sets sail on a magical voyage to answer the century old-question: How did a boy named Peter become the boy who wouldn't grow up?

When an actor starts out on their journey to stardom, they are bound to hear the same advice from a multitude of concerned friends and relatives: theatre is a cut-throat business, and nothing is set in stone. However, when these well-meaning people give this warning, they are more than likely referring to the worlds of New York City and Hollywood, the promised lands for actors and theatre-goers alike. They are not thinking of community theatre, which in some ways can be equally as vastly competitive and filled with it's own kind of drama. It can be just as difficult to make a mark on your hometown theatre scene than it is on the streets of Broadway, especially when you are surrounded by a wealth of local talent. It could be easy for Oyster Mill Playhouse in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania to fall victim to the curse of community obscurity, but they have proven to have done just the opposite, especially with their production of THE SPITFIRE GRILL.
???????The Oyster Mill Playhouse will present The Spitfire Grill, with music and book by James Valcq, lyrics and book by Fred Alley and based on the film by Lee David Zlotoff, March 10 through March 26. Curtain is at 8 p.m. for all Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shows, and 2 p.m. for Sunday matinees. T
Anything can happen on a weekend in the woods with your friends. And sometimes it's as funny as all get-out. A new farce makes its eastern premiere at The Belmont.
