AMERICAN IDOL LIVE! returns this summer for another hit tour to showcase the season's talented top Finalists. 19 Entertainment and AEG Live have announced the 40-show concert Tour will stop at Joe Louis Arena today, July 5 at 7:30 p.m.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, several performances of the AMERICAN IDOL summer tour have been canceled. The cancellations are a result of low ratings from this past season of the singing competition.

Last night, in the first LIVE results show of the season from Los Angeles, American Idol revealed the Top 10 finalists, including Lazaro Arbos, Janelle Arthur, Curtis Finch, Jr., Candice Glover, Kree Harrison, Amber Holcomb, Paul Jolley, Angie Miller, BurNell Taylor and Devin Velez. Last night, AMERICAN IDOL named the final set of guys who will join the Top 20. They are Lazaro Arbos, 21, from Naples, FL; Nick Boddington, 27, from Memphis, TN; Vincent Powell, 29, from Austin, TX; Cortez Shaw, 21, from Dallas, TX; and Burnell Taylor, 19, from New Orleans, LA.

On last night's AMERICAN IDOL, 20-year-old Zonette Johnson from Tulsa, OK brought the judges to their feet and Nicki Minaj to tears with her stirring rendition of The Lion King's 'The Circle Of Life.' Check out the performance below!

All eyes were on Devin Velez last night when he performed a stunning version of Beyonce's 'Listen' from the soundtrack album of 2006's musical film DREAMGIRLS. As an added surprise, the talented singer suddenly changed to Spanish lyrics midway through the song! Check out the performance below.

The five guy semifinalists are Charlie Askew, 18, from Little Rock, AR; Curtis Finch Jr., 24, from St. Louis, MO; Paul Jolley, 22, from Palmersville, TN; Elijah Liu, 18, from Rowland Heights, CA; and Devin Velez, 18, from Chicago, IL.

The AMERICAN IDOL auditions came to a conclusion tonight as the judges' semifinalists picks were revealed. After intense deliberations, Mariah, Randy, Nicki and Keith have chosen the Top 40 contestants, who will now head to Las Vegas to perform on the stage of Cirque du Soleil's Beatles LOVE Theatre at The Mirage.

Two contestants who struggled through the group rounds were up next. First was Papa Peachez who sang Lady Gaga's You and I. And then Jimmy Smith sand Landslide by the Dixie Chicks.

Tonight on American Idol the male finalists showed their stuff to kick off Hollywood week. The ladies will compete next week, meaning guys vs. guys tonight and tomorrow night.
