Disney Branded Television has begun production in Los Angeles on 'Meet the Mayhems,' an original live-action comedy series about a family of raucous supervillains who recently ran afoul of the League of Villains and now must somehow beat a path to normalcy in a small Texas town.

Disney Channel has ordered a second season of 'Amphibia,' a frog-out-of-water animated comedy series, ahead of its debut on MONDAY, JUNE 17 (10:00-10:30 a.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. Leaping into the fantastical world of 'Amphibia,' the series chronicles the adventures of independent and fearless teen Anne Boonchuy (voiced by Brenda Song) after she is magically transported to a rural marshland full of frog people and meets the excitable young frog Sprig Plantar and his family. Created and executive produced by Annie Award-winner Matt Braly ('Gravity Falls'), the series is inspired by his heritage, family and childhood trips to Bangkok, Thailand.

Devilish Theatrical in association with Theatre of Arts has announced the world premiere of The Devil You Know-A Rhythm & Blues Story, a new musical with book by David Carey Foster & Larry Poindexter, and music & lyrics by Poindexter. Directed by Darin Anthony with musical direction by Brad Ellis, the cast will feature (in alphabetical order) Trevon Davis, Julia Harriman, Gildart Jackson, Harrison Killian-White, Alexis Krause, Braxton Molinaro, Larry Poindexter, Niles Rivers, Sasha Sloan, James Patrick Stuart, and Bill Watterson.
