Art House Productions has announced the first JC Fridays of 2022 on Friday, March 4. Jersey City's premiere quarterly arts festival will showcase a variety of happenings including visual art exhibitions, dance performances, and studio tours from 20+ artists, businesses, and organizations. Visitors are encouraged to travel place to place to discover artwork, and to support artists and local businesses.

The Cartography Project is a major multi-year National Symphony Orchestra and Washington National Opera commissioning initiative to foreground the phenomenon of race-based violence in the United States by commissioning new chamber and vocal works by creators of color from grieving communities across the nation.

Washington National Opera will return to Nationals Park with Opera in the Outfield on Saturday, August 28. Hosted by General Director Timothy O’Leary and WNO Artistic Director Francesca Zambello, this community event features an outdoor broadcast of Rossini’s charming romantic comedy Cinderella.

Roger Sanders and Dana Scott Galloway present the New York premiere of The Klunch's production of LAURA BUSH KILLED A GUY by Ian Allen. Directed by John Vreeke, the production stars Lisa Hodsoll, who received a 2018 Helen Hayes Award nomination for her portrayal of the former First Lady in the acclaimed Washington DC premiere. Previews begin June 14 at The Flea Theater with opening night slated for Thursday, June 21.

In conjunction with its world premiere production of Not Enough Air by Masha Obolensky, TimeLine Theatre Company will present a series of concert readings of the landmark play that inspired Obolensky's work, MACHINAL by Sophie Treadwell. Machinal will be directed by Rachel Walshe and will run for eight performances only, opening Sunday, February 8 at 7 p.m. and running Sundays and Mondays at 7 p.m. through March 2, 2009. Performances will be held at TimeLine Theatre, 615 W. Wellington Ave., Chicago. The Press Opening performance is Sunday, February 8 at 7 p.m.
