Victoria Guthrie BIO

Victoria Guthrie is originally from Michigan. She came to New York after graduating and studied fashion design at FIT. While working in the leather and fur industry, Victoria was recruited into the modeling world and spent many years traveling around the world while working as a model. After returning to New York, Victoria dabbled in acting while studying business at NYU. It wasn't long before she fell into the real estate business and had tremendous success as a principal. Victoria learned the ropes as a developer while working for Marcus and Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage. She was a land development and conversion specialist during her tenure at Marcus and Millichap. Upon accumulating a decent real estate portfolio, Victoria has been able to return to her original passion of acting with true commitment and focus.
Since returning to show business in Jan '07, Victoria has completed approximately eighty films,many Off Bway and Off Off Bway plays and and numerous readings at Primary Stages and other venues. Victoria has appeared on tv in The Onion News Network and various commercials.
Other passionate pursuits include equestrian dressage riding and competitive ballroom dancing.

'Open Rehearsal' by Lazarre Seymour Simckes, author of 'Seven Days of Mourning,' 'Ten Best Martyrs of the Year,' and 'Nossig's Antics,' is a Pirandellian farce in which a play about a chaotic family pretends to be just a chaotic rehearsal. The playwright is an award-winning author whose plays usually confront difficult questions of Jewish history with absurdist logic. This is his fourth production at Theater for the New City and his first time directing his own work.
