Broadway Performers to Join Kathryn Francisco and Bassist Nick West On Joint Birthday Show
Singer/Songwriter/Actor Kathryn Francisco ('The Wild Party'and season ten winner of 'So You Think You Can Belt') and bassist Nick West are coming together for a joint birthday show where they will be joined by Broadway performers, and some of the greatest up and coming recording artists in a night planned to blow the roof off of The West End Lounge. It will be a truly epic night of full band live music: complete with originals, mashups, funky jazz fusion, and uniquely arranged covers of everything from Beyonce to Broadway to Bruno Mars.
Sharon Wilkins, Darren Ritchie & More Set for TRIPLE THREAT Concert Series at Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub, 5/19
On May 19, 2014, Vitello's Jazz and Supperclub presents Triple Threat, a monthly Broadway concert series, featuring some of LA's finest Broadway talent. This theme for this month's concert is Disney, and will feature Broadway singers performing songs from both Disney movies and musicals. Hosted by the voice of Louis the Alligator from Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Michael-Leon Wooley (Little Shop of Horrors, Five Guys Named Moe, The Music Man), the concert will feature performers Sharon Wilkins (Seussical, The Life, All Shook Up), J. Elaine Marcos (Annie, A Chorus Line, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), Darren Ritchie (Dracula, Wonderland, Les Miserables), Rhett George (Sweet Charity, Memphis, Aida), Eric B. Anthony (The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Hairspray), Chandra Lee Schwartz (Gypsy, Wicked), Stephanie Fredricks (Wonderful Town), Anne Letscher (Fiddler on the Roof), Daniel May (Flower Drum Song), Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof), Deedee Magno Hall (Miss Saigon), and Michelle Loucadoux (The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast).
