FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY continues its Fall 2012 season with the return engagement of film, television, and theatre star PETER GALLAGHER. For his one-man show, "How'd All You People Get In My Room?," Gallagher shares real-life stories from his early days starting out as a young actor in New York, to working with legends like Jack Lemmon, Tom Stoppard, Mike Nichols, Robert Altman, Peter O'Toole and more. Joined by his four-piece band, Gallagher brings his experiences to life with songs ranging from Broadway, to music from the hit television show "The OC," to classics from Sammy Cahn, Jules Styne, Burt Bacharach and Van Morrison. When Gallagher debuted at the club in 2007, The New York Times raved that "he inhabits a song so comfortably that it flows directly out, a fusion of his own personality and the character he is playing." His new show will run through November 17 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

BWW Reviews: Brian Stokes Mitchell is a Class Act at the Broad
On Friday March 9 and Sunday March 11, debonair Broadway tenor Brian Stokes Mitchell graced the stage of the Broad in Santa Monica for an intimate concert of standard tunes and Broadway favorites. Called by some critics the last Broadway leading man, Mitchell, or Stokes, as he prefers to be called, is handsome and possesses an astoundingly rich vocal instrument, but it is his warm, up-close charismatic approach to the material that is most winning. He makes you feel like you are at home with him, his wife and eight year-old son, as he shares some of his favorite tunes and embarrassing moments onstage. There's the time when he was performing Kiss Me Kate on Broadway and forgot the lyrics to 'Where Is the Life That Late I Led'. He looked down into the orchestra pit for assistance from musical director Paul Gemignani, who looked back at him and shrugged. Stokes proceeded in our presence to essay the number reading the lyrics from a tiny notebook which he pulled from the breast pocket of his suit jacket. It is this type of small human touch that characterizes the man and makes him vulnerable and totally likeable.

Recording artist Sylvia Brooks will appear at Hollywood's most popular jazz and supper club, Catalina Bar & Grill, on Sunday, 21 November 2010 at 7:30pm. The singer whose voice Jazz Times has described as 'a dark, smoky sound with impressive firepower' is in the midst of a busy promotional campaign to support her new CD, Dangerous Liaisons, which has been added to hundreds of terrestrial and internet playlists throughout the U.S. and Canada, chiefly on jazz and adult standards stations. Hottest tracks to emerge on airplay are 'Come Rain or Come Shine', 'Sway', 'Cry Me a River' and 'The Man That Got Away'.
