Producer Ralph Lampkin, Jr, owner of Lampkin Music Group, Lampkin Magic Productions and the label, LMG Music, hailing from the New York City area but living in the Midwest, has a lengthy career in the field of music and theater. His career started as singer/dancer in nightclubs and musicals: Mame, The Wiz, Miss Merican, Little Mary Sunshine, Small's Paradise, Grand Finale, Copacabana, Duplex, Backstage, His-n-Her's, Century Center, Parkwest, Orphan's, Beefsteak Charlie's, Immediate Theater and 47th Street Restaurant.
Ralph was also song-plugger for various pop songwriters while also writing a monthly column in Cabaret Scenes.

Ralph moved into producing events, musicals and concert/cabarets for many a performer; credits include Alexandra Billings tour-de-force autobiography, "Before I Disappear" in reincarnations Off Broadway, in Los Angeles, Michigan and Chicago; Special concert/nightclub/theater shows featuring performers like actress/singer Alexandra Billings, jazz singer Spider Saloff, Tony Winners Donna McKechnie, Alice Ripley and Hinton Battle, Jeff Winner Hollis Resnik, Broadway and Cabaret Star Karen Mason, Disco dance divas Linda Clifford and Suzanne Palme; Tom Michael, Beckie Menzie and jazz icons Bob Dorough, Sheila Jordan and singers Joanie Pallatto and Martha Lorin.

He has presented many a benefit for organizations like: Aids Foundation, Season of Concern, Teen Living Programs, Bailiwick Repertory Theater, Actor's Equity, Chicago House, Alderman Tom Tunney and South Bend Mayor Steve Luecke.
