Shea's Performing Arts Center has announced the 2020 a?" 21 Season at Shea's Smith Theatre featuring Buffalo-based Second Generation Theatre and O'Connell & Company. The Smith 2020-21 season includes musical favorites, a regional premiere, and great comedies.

TF: Honestly, after a rough divorce, and the prospect of not seeing my children on a daily basis, I was in pretty rough shape, mentally. I saw and answered an ad for a Christian theater group's production of 'It's a Wonderful Life' simply to have something to do (Little did they know what they were unleashing on the world). Immediately the bug that is theater bit me. I had a home and purpose once again. . This community of ours is unlike any I've ever experienced. We are truly a family in every sense of the word. It has saved my life countless times.

O'Connell & Company's current production of WOMEN ON FIRE by Irene O'Garden, will welcome 2 very special guests at the April 29th performance. The shows author Irene O'Garden and the original star of the piece, Tony award winning actress Judith Ivey. Irene O'Garden's critically acclaimed play, WOMEN ON FIRE starring Judith Ivey, was twice extended and played to sold-out houses Off Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre. It was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for Best Solo Show, and two of its monologues are published in Best Women's Stage Monologues.
