The BROADWAY WORLD AWARDS introduces some new categories this year.
SORRY ARI is a 15-episode comedy web series that follows Ari, a positive guy with the absolute worst luck in the world. It was selected as One of the Best Web Series by INDIEWIRE alongside Jerry Seinfeld and recently won Breakout Series at Glow Fest LA. It has been featured at the HollyWeb Festival, The Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles, WhoHaHa, Funny or Die and FilmShortage.
After years of playing well with others - whether singing backup for friends' shows, or crooning alongside a cast of puppet characters - Jennifer Barnhart finally steps into the spotlight in her first solo cabaret, fittingly titled, 'It's About Time!' Alan Muraoka will direct two evenings of stories, silliness and song as Jennifer shares the journey that led her to two of the most famous streets in the world: Broadway and Sesame Street.
The Public Theater presents the New York premiere of Office Hour, written by Julia Cho and directed by Neel Keller, part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR. Office Hour will run through Sunday, December 3 with an official press opening last night, November 8.

AVENUE Q's Nicholas Kohn is producing his wife Marissa Kohn's new play, DO ME A LITTLE, at FringeNYC, alongside Robert Earle Jones. The show closes tomorrow, Saturday, August 25th.
