Author Linda B. Forgosh will present a talk and book signing of her biography, Louis Bamberger: Department Store Innovator and Philanthropist on Thursday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. at The Present Day Club.

Line-up Announced for Concert Series HOT JAZZ / COOL GARDEN at Louis Armstrong House Museum

Summer in the city begins on July 4th, Louis Armstrong's traditional birthday, when the Louis Armstrong House Museum kicks off its signature summer concert series Hot Jazz / Cool Garden - now in its 10th year. For three days this summer, hot jazz is served up with red beans 'n' rice in the Armstrongs' Japanese-inspired garden. Birthday cake will be served on July 4th and Hot Jazz / Cool Garden series subscribers will enjoy a soul food luncheon too. It's a wonderful world at the Louis Armstrong House Museum.

Louis C.K. Adds Third Madison Square Garden Show

The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that due to overwhelming demand award-winning comedian Louis C.K. will add a third show to his Madison Square Garden run on Thursday, September 15, 2016.  Previously announced shows will be Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 8:00PM and Monday, September 12, 2016 at 8:00PM. Louis C.K. Postpones MGM Grand Garden Arena Debut, Originally Set for 3/8

The Louis C.K. performance originally scheduled for Friday, March 8 at MGM Grand has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts related to the comedian's current movie project. Louis Armstrong House Museum is hosting a Garden Party on May 5th & 6th from 12 Noon - 6:00 pm as part of the Partners in Preservation grant contest this weekend so visitors will enjoy live Jazz, historic house tours, red beans ‘n rice, swing dancing and an exciting raffle program designed to drum up votes for LAHM in the grant contest at www.PartnersInPreservation.com.

Louis Armstrong House Museum is throwing a Garden Party on May 5 & 6, 2012 and all are invited. The Garden Party is a free event, family friendly and will be held rain or shine. The weekend Garden Party will be jam-packed with hot fun and cool jazz. Event hours are Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 from 12 Noon - 6pm. In addition, the Garden Party will include a satellite event: a free film screening on Saturday, May 12th from 6 pm - 8 pm.
