BIO

Keith Franklin (Director, Canewell) serves as the Artistic Director of The New African Grove Theatre Company. He also provides actor training and coaching through the Franklin Acting Workshop. From preadolescence, he has been involved in theatrical productions across the metro Atlanta area. A prolific actor/director, he was last seen as an actor in the role of Solly Two Kings in New Marietta Theatre In The Square's production of August Wilson's Gem Of The Ocean. He last directed New African Grove Theatre Company's production of Pearl Cleage's A Song For Coretta. Some other favorite productions include performing in every play in the August Wilson American Century Cycle, Twelve Angry Men, The Zoo Story, Louie & Ophelia, Zooman & The Sign, The Boys Next Door, You Can't Take It With You, originated the role of Raynerd Chisum in the revised version of Dearly Beloved by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, Jamie Wooten and directing: Stories About The Old Days, Every Goodbye Ain’t Gone, Long Time Since Yesterday, Seven Guitars, Two Trains Running, The Meeting, Deep Blue Funk, American Menu, Love You Better.

Chelsea Halfpenny To Play 'Judy Bernly' In West End Production Of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL

The producers of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL announced today that Chelsea Halfpenny will play the role of 'Judy Bernly' at the Savoy Theatre from Tuesday 27 August. Chelsea will play the role from 27 to 29 August and will be full time in the role from Tuesday 2 September.
