Kathryn Neville Browne BIO

A native New Yorker, Kathryn is an actress and an attorney. While in law school, she often performed with the Georgetown Gilbert and Sullivan Society when she should have been studying. She eventually used her performance skills in court, prosecuting felony narcotics cases in the South Bronx during the 1980s' crack epidemic. Today she practices matrimonial law and appears in various independent film and NYC theatre projects. Favorite roles include: Gertrude in Hamlet (Hudson Guild Theatre), Gina in The Wild Duck and Mrs. Webb in Our Town (Theatre 54), the Amanda Gronich track in The Laramie Project (American Theatre of Actors), Lindsay in Some Girl(s) (The Chain Theatre), and Mrs. Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (Thirteenth Street Repertory Company.) Kathryn was nominated Outstanding Actress in a Short Play or Musical at the 2014 Midtown International Theatre Festival for her role as Jacqueline Graham in an original one-act, Another One Darling. Her most recent short film, Happy Hour, is narrated by Julianne Moore, and is currently screening at festivals around the country. She can also be seen in the web series Empire, playing the manipulative yet charming Sandra Haven.

Inspired by true events, PARTHENOGENESIS is the story of three generations of women who, by choice or circumstance, all approach motherhood differently. It starts on the frozen water of Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts where Theresa (Kathryn Neville Browne), as a 4-year-old child, is abandoned by her father. Tonight, her father wishes to return to her life, to tell her about why he left.
