'Choose Your Own Adventure' is a solo exhibition of Justin Chase Lane's new and revisioned work, including photographs, drawings and sculpture. Lane fabricates and photographs both miniature and life-sized tableaus that portray dilemmas and enigmas of ancient and contemporary society, the mystical world of play, and surreal and imagined events. His intention is to create scenes meant to evoke feelings that range from despair to playfulness.

Friday, August 16, 2013 will be officially proclaimed 'Forgotten Door Day' by Mayor Goodman's office in Las Vegas in honor of the homegrown band, Forgotten Door, who is launching an unprecedented six-month weekend residency at the Wolf Theatre inside the Clarion Hotel & Casino (305 Convention Center Dr., Las Vegas 89109) that evening.

Unlike most groups that long to tour the U.S. and world, Forgotten Door is excited about staying in town, performing for residents, tourists, conventioneers, etc. Celebrating the upcoming release of their highly anticipated, appropriately titled debut album Unlocked, the eclectic band-whose lineup includes co-founder, vocalist and guitarist Lonnie Danley, lead vocalist Melody Ritz, lead and slide guitarist, and vocalist Michael Seal, bassist Karl Gottmann and drummer Kevin Brennan-is starting an unprecedented six month weekend residency in July in the Wolf Theatre at the Clarion Hotel & Casino (305 Convention Circle Drive, Las Vegas 89109).

On Monday night, Jim Caruso's Cast Party was a hotbed of activity, and not just because of the summer temperature! The jam-packed house was thrilled to celebrate the cast of Closer Than Ever, the Matlby-Shire musical review starring Jenn Colella, Christiane Noll, Sal Viviano and George Dvorskey, accompanied by Andrew Gerle. A few lucky (and knowledgeable) audience members even won tickets to the show.
