Jersey City's most prolific festival returns for its sixth year of world-class jazz in its annual week-long celebration this June. Enjoy food trucks, children's activities, a record riot, local vendors, and hundreds of professional musicians throughout the week. The sixth annual Riverview Jazz Festival will feature over 40 events, capped by two outdoor festival events June 1st and 9th.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts continues to grow and diversify programming held in its most intimate venue – the indoor Event Gallery. This fall, The Event Gallery Concert Series will present John Waite and the Axeman with special guest Leslie Dinicola on September 24; Blues Festival at Bethel Woods on October 29; and the Drifters on November 5. Plus, the beloved Bradstan Cabaret Series returns with three unique performances featuring Lee Lessack & Johnny Rodgers on September 17, Jarrod Spector & Kelli Barrett on October 15, and Liz Callaway on November 19.

The 88th Annual Feast of San Gennaro, New York City's longest-running, biggest and most revered religious outdoor festival, will take place for 11 days starting Thursday, September 11 and continuing through Sunday, September 21, 2014, it was announced today by Joseph Mattone, President of Figli di San Gennaro (Children of San Gennaro), the not-for-profit community organization which has operated the Feast since 1996. The Feast is held annually on the streets of historic Little Italy, the lower Manhattan neighborhood which served as the first home in America for many thousands of Italian immigrants seeking a better life in the early years of the 20th century.

As previously announced, internationally renowned singer, recording artist, and humanitarian Dionne Warwick and the legendary musical theatre performer Carol Channing will be honored, along with 16 other members of the New York cabaret and jazz community, at the 26th Annual Bistro Awards, which will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at Gotham Comedy Club, located at 208 West 23rd Street (between 7th & 8th avenues).

This week, January 25, stars celebrated the winners of the 2010 Nightlife Awards at The Town Hall. Among the winners and performers were Christine Ebersole, Cheyenne Jackson, Johnny Rodgers, Gretchen Reinhagen, Anne Steele, Eric Comstock and Barbara Fasano. Additional winners included Kurt Elling, Hank Jones, Sheila Jordan, Bad Plus, Baby Jane Dexter, Louis CK, John Mulaney, and Slovin and Allen.

Johnny Rodgers brings the Johnny Rodgers Band to Barnes and Noble, Lincoln Center on February 25 at 6 p.m. for the AnyWednesday Music series.
