Orlando Shakespeare Theater to Present RAPUNZEL, 6/19-7/27


Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF will present a hilarious retelling of the classic fairy tale Rapunzel from June 19 - July 27, 2014. Based on the story by The Brothers Grimm, Orlando Shakes actor/playwright Brandon Roberts returns with another family-friendly adaptation after past summer hits Sleeping Beauty (2013) and Cinderella (2012). Complete with a brave princess, a clueless king, and a magical plunger, audiences of all ages will enjoy this silly production, presented in the intimate Goldman Theater. Orlando Shakespeare Theater Reveals Casts & Directors for PlayFest, Running 11/8-10


Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF proudly presents its annual new play festival, PlayFest, from November 8-10, 2013. This fast-paced weekend is packed with lively discussions, engaging panels, and new play readings, along with a keynote speech from award-winning playwright Lee Blessing. PlayFest 2013 is part of Harriett's New Play Series and marks the eleventh festival of new plays at Orlando Shakespeare Theater.
