The Thornton Wilder Society will present its annual THORNTON WILDER PRIZE to Michel Hausmann and the company he co-founded Miami New Drama  at a ceremony in NYC on Monday, November 14.

Washington Area Performing Arts Video Archive (WAPAVA) and WAPAVA President Jackson R. Bryer have announced that Rick Hammerly has joined the organization as its new Executive Director as of October 1, 2020. Hammerly, a 2-time Helen Hayes Award-winning actor/director, is also the Producing Artistic Director of Factory 449.

'Can't Live Without You' was written by Philip Middleton Williams and is directed by Jerry Jensen. It is making its South Florida debut at the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton, FL (300 S. Military Trail) and runs March 30, 31 and April 7 at 2 PM and on March 30, April 5 and 6 at 8 PM. Target Margin Theater presents The ICEMAN Lab, a radical new reimaging of The Iceman Cometh, with four diverse theater artists each tackling a separate act of the play. This fresh take on O'Neill's classic will give audiences the opportunity to see each act as a separate experiment or all together in a single sitting. The four acts of The ICEMAN Lab play a varied schedule at the HERE Arts Center (145 6th Avenue) beginning today, June 2 through June 25, with special marathon performances on June 11 and June 18.

Tappan Wilder, nephew of famed playwright Thornton Wilder and literary executor, and cast members of the critically acclaimed (Lucille Lortel Award-winning) David Cromer production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, in association with The Thornton Wilder Society, presented the 'Thornton Wilder Prize,' to famed Journalist Robert MacNeil on Saturday afternoon, May 22, 2010 following the matinee at the Barrow Street Theatre.

Brian Dennehy, a leading figure in American theater, renowned for his roles in the plays of Eugene O'Neill, will highlight the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's 10th Annual Eugene O'Neill Celebration, presented this year in collaboration with the Eugene O'Neill Society and Connecticut College and with the support of the Frank Loomis Palmer Fund. Mr. Dennehy is an active member of the Center's Board of Trustees.
