Eylisabeth Bengochea

BIO

Eylisabeth Bengochea is a Cuban-American actress, singer, director, writer, and dancer. She was born in Miami, Florida to two Cuban Immigrant parents, who lived out their American Dream and became doctors. Her credits exhibit her bilingual fluidity, including the Spanish program ¡Viva la familia! where she was featured as a Chico Del Barrio, and English short films such as The Domino Effect and Up to Me. Eylisabeth also wrote, directed, executive produced, and starred in her hilarious mockumentary: "Please Slate: A Journey Through Young Hollywood". She has also starred in New York theatrical performances including A Magical Christmas, This Way to Broadway, and a performance at the famed Don't Tell Mamma Cabaret Theater. She has also been featured in three seasons with the Florida Grand Opera; appearing in productions of Tosca, La Bohème, and Carmen. Eylisabeth is also a trained archer, painter, and pianist.

An intense motivation and extreme passion for the arts are the main factors that lead Latinx teenager Eylisabeth Bengochea to a new solution for both performers and fans: virtual musicals. When the Covid crisis brought the arts to a screeching halt, she knew something had to be done to ensure that theater stayed alive, something unique that would engage the audience of young theatre lovers and reignite their enthusiasm in the arts.
