Works & Process, the performing-arts series at the Guggenheim, announces a new initiative, Works & Process Rotunda Projects. Buildingon its long tradition of commissioning performances for the unique architecture of the Guggenheim's Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Peter B. Lewis Theater, Works & Process will expand into the museum's rotunda.

The 29th Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards nominees were announced by choreographer & director Lee Roy Reams at a special reception hosted by Carolyn Kendall Buchter, Ronald Buchter and Patricia Watt, Producer of the Astaire Awards at Theater Row's Firebird Russian Restaurant,. The stately Samuel Tilden Mansion on Gramercy Park, home to The National Arts Club (NAC) was the setting for an elegant soiree for the committee, sponsors and friends of the upcoming Stella by Starlight Gala to benefit the scholarship and outreach programs of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting. The Gala will be held at The Pierre Hotel, November 8.
