Daniel Pitout

Daniel Pitout is also known as Orville Peck. Orville Peck emerged as a recording artist with the release of his self-produced debut album, Pony, in 2019 through Sub Pop. He wrote, produced, and performed much of the album himself. Pony was longlisted for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize and received a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year in 2020. Also in 2019, Peck launched the annual Orville Peck's Rodeo music event, showcasing emerging country artists.

In 2020, Peck released the EP Show Pony and recorded a cover of "Smalltown Boy" for Spotify Singles. He also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and announced a U.S. tour that included scheduled appearances at the Coachella and Stagecoach festivals.

Peck collaborated with Trixie Mattel on the EP Full Coverage, Vol. 1 (2021), performing a duet of "Jackson," and contributed a country-inspired version of "Born This Way" to Lady Gaga's Born This Way The Tenth Anniversary album. In 2023, he appeared as a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race and served as a coach and judge on My Kind of Country.

In 2024, Peck released the duets album Stampede through Warner Records. The album's singles included "Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly Fond of Each Other" with Willie Nelson, "How Far Will We Take It?" with Noah Cyrus, and "Midnight Ride" with Kylie Minogue and Diplo. He also launched The Stampede Tour across North America.

In 2025, Peck made his Broadway debut as the Emcee in the revival of Cabaret opposite Eva Noblezada. In 2026, he is set to make his feature film debut as Vega in the Street Fighter reboot.
