Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre has announced its annual Shakespeare on Stratford, a live FREE family friendly community celebration in honor of Shakespeare’s birthday on Saturday, April 24 from 3:30-5:30pm.

Brave New World Repertory Theatre, the Brooklyn-based company that first won acclaim with To Kill A Mockingbird staged on the front porches of Victorian Flatbush in 2005, announces a new generation of Brave New Works for BNW's 15th anniversary season.

'Things just aren't nice anymore.' People have different coping mechanisms for grief, a message that is profoundly on display in Cadence Theatre's production of David Lindsay Abaire's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama RABBIT HOLE. The show runs through May 20 at Virginia Repertory Theatre.

Cadence Theatre Company in partnership with Virginia Repertory Theatre presents the Richmond premiere of Lisa D'Amour's Pulitzer Prize-nominated and Obie Award-winning play, Detroit. Detroit runs May 1-May 24, 2014 (opens May 3rd) with a Talk Back Sunday post-show discussion on Sunday, May 11th. Local psychiatrist Dr. Neil Sonenklar will facilitate.

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre will present its second annual production of Thornton Wilder's holiday gem, "The Long Christmas Dinner." Two casts - one black and one white - play the same American family in a celebration of life that spans 90 years and three generations all within 45 minutes. Written before "Our Town," the play takes place at the Christmas dinner table and as the family marks births, deaths and the eternal truths of life, it provides a profound and poignant theater experience.
