Charles has been acting as a cop for over twenty years. He was "Officer of Year" for the State of Connecticut in 1999 and considers this his "Tony Award". Charles has returned to the stage after a long absence. Some of his credits are the Tin Man in Artful Living Production of the "Wizard of OZ", Henry Etches in Colchester Community Theatre's production of "Titanic", John in Newington Mainstage production of "Mid Life, The Crisis Musical", Mr. Salt in Hartford Children's Theatre production of "Willy Wonka", as well as LT. Ward/Judge Brandies/Harold Ickes/Ensemble in Hartford Children's Theatre production of "Annie". Charles has enjoyed his time on stage so much that he has opened the door to the great experience that the stage has to offer by introducing it to his two daughters, Alexis and Brooke. Both who have appeared on stage with their father in Hartford Children's Theatre "Annie" and Artful Living Production of "Wizard of OZ".
