BIO
An accomplished musician, Cary has received critical acclaim and numerous awards for his vocal and orchestral direction on productions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Most recently, he was the musical director for Contra Costa Musical Theatre's 2019 production of "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." Other favorite productions as musical director include AIDA, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Cabaret, The Secret Garden, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Rocky Horror Show, Titanic, Tommy and as vocal director for Hair, The King and I, Oklahoma, and Spring Awakening. In addition to musical direction, his professional theater resume includes vocal coach, piano instructor, children's camp director, and community theater board member.

My first experience at Lincoln Theatre Company last weekend left me with one question: why did it take me so long? Under new Executive Director Cary Litchford, the arts in Lincoln are continuing to thrive. From first-class hospitality to top-tier performances, this community treasure is something worth making a trip for. Their current offering, Don’t Dress for Dinner, is an adaptation from the French play Pyjama Pour Six by Marc Camoletti. The script feeds on energy, timing, and some serious comic chops, which this cast delivers.

The small and intimate Altarena Playhouse has got something big and outrageous to sing about and it's proving that little can sometimes be better if it's done right. Tucked away in the quiet suburban city of Alameda on the East Bay side of San Francisco, this Playhouse is packing them in - and for good reason - they are rockin' the house with an electrifying, must-see production of The Rocky Horror Show.
