Lynn Nottage’s 2017 Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner Sweat continues Northern Stage’s 25th Anniversary Season March 8-26 in the Byrne Theater at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, Vermont.

Performances begin TONIGHT for the Berkshire Theatre Group production of Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You and The Actor's Nightmare by Christopher Durang. Directed by Matthew Penn, the cast features Harriet Harris, Anna O'Donoghue, Tom Story, Matthew Sullivan and Ariana Venturi. Performances will continue through August 31 at The Unicorn Theatre/The Larry Vaber Stage (6 East Street, Stockbridge, MA). Opening Night is Saturday, August 18 at 8:00pm.

ln the world premiere of I Wanna f**king Tear You Apart, playwright and director Morgan Gould explores a friendship between two people who aren't 'normal.'

The eight new plays in development at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Playwrights Conference will feature Broadway actress Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening the Deaf West Broadway revival, The GLEE Project), Drama Desk Award-nominee Margo Seibert (ROCKY on Broadway), television's Jeremy Bobb (The Knick, House of Cards, Hostages), Luke Macfarlane (Brothers & Sisters, Mercy Street), and Melanie Nicholls King (The Wire).

In response to popular demand, Labyrinth Theater Company extends the New York premiere of The Way West by Mona Mansour to April 10. The production, which opened on March 16, is directed by Labyrinth Artistic Director Mimi O'Donnell and features Labyrinth Company Member and Obie award-winner Deirdre O'Connell. The Way West is a new, offbeat comedy about life and debt. The production must close on the 10th.

LESSER AMERICA presents the world premiere of THE BACHELORS by Caroline V. McGraw (The Vaults), directed by Portia Krieger (Fun Home Associate Director, Baby Screams Miracle) at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place, NYC) now playing through November 29th, 2015. Now in its fifth year, Communal Spaces: a garden play festival will premiere eight new short plays inspired by and performed in four community gardens in Manhattan and Brooklyn. The festival will take place in the last three weekends on September.

The 10th Annual New York Innovative Theatre Awards Ceremony will celebrate the Off-Off-Broadway Theatre community and honor this past season's greatest achievements. The awards will be presented by celebrities from the theatre community at large.

On Monday, July 21, 2014, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 nominees at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the IT PARTY took place at XL Night Club, 512 West 42nd Street.
