BIO
Since she was 11 years old, Alyssa has been an actress, comedian, singer, and most recently assistant director. She will be an Comedic Arts BFA major at Emerson College in the fall of 2017. Three of her favorite roles were Miss Hannigan in Annie, Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone, and most recently Charity in Sweet Charity. Alyssa is a member of her high school's theatre conservatory, runs her school's ComedySportz improvisation team, is President of her high school's Theatre Club, and performs vocally around San Diego. She is a 2017 Ben Vereen Best Actress Nominee.

Broadway/San Diego is excited to announce the 10 Best Actress and 10 Best Actor nominees for the 2017 Ben Vereen Awards, of which two will be selected on May 28th to compete at The National High School Musical Theatre Awards (The JimmyTM Awards) in New York this June. The San Diego Ben Vereen Awards is sponsored by San Diego County Credit Union and this, its fourth year, will also highlight the winners of the Wellness Through the Arts Essay Contest with an original musical theatre production piece.
