Set aboard the tiny fishing boat Orca, The Shark is Broken finds Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Scheider stuck at sea, waiting for the notoriously malfunctioning mechanical shark to be fixed. Tensions rise as the actors battle egos, boredom, and the pressure of making a Hollywood classic—all while trapped together in tight quarters.
