Dean Bottrell, accomplished actor and storyteller,launches his tour this Friday, May 9 at Pangea in New York City.  Following the immense success of his previous show, the award-winning The Death of Me Yet, Bottrell will be touring his newest, equally acclaimed solo show, Teenage Wasteland: Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, a collection of funny, poignant and totally true stories from his rough and tumble early adolescence. In addition to Pangea, other stops on the summer-long tour include Cotuit Center for the Arts (Wednesday, June 18, 7 PM) and Dreamland in Nantucket (Friday, June 20, 7 PM).  Since 2021, Bottrell’s showshave played to packed houses and great reviews in New York City, Los Angles, Sag Harbor, Palm Springs and Nantucket.

David is an openly out, veteranactor/storyteller whose many TV credits include the new 2023 reboot of Frasier(the new one), Modern Family, Law & Order SVU, Blacklist, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Mad Men, Justified, True Blood,Castle, Bones, Ugly Betty, Days of Our Lives, and Boston Legal (playing the creepy, homicidal “Lincoln Meyer” on season three).  He's appeared in sketch comedy and storytelling shows on both coasts, including Joe's Pub, Dixon Place, Comedy Central Stage, and Acme Comedy Theatre.  He wrote the screenplay for Searchlight Pictures hit comedy Kingdom Come and is the author of the popular how-to book, Working Actor (Penguin Random House).
