FAMILY FUN DAY Kicks Off McCallum Theatre's Starry 2016-17 Season
The McCallum Theatre will kick off its 2016-17 season with the Fifth Annual McCallum Theatre Family Fun Day set for Sunday, October 23, 2016 featuring a performance of the critically-acclaimed The Underwater Bubble Show. Proceeds from this special annual event will support theatre operations including the McCallum Theatre Institute, the Theatre's award-winning arts education program that provides arts training to 40,000 students and educators annually, serving 70% of Coachella Valley classrooms.

Family Fun Day at the McCallum begins at noon on Sunday, October 23rd with food, games, and fun arts-related activities for the entire family including face painting, theatre and music games, balloon pops with fantastic prizes, a silent auction, food vendors, action characters and much more. At 2:30pm, all ticket-holders will move into the Theatre to enjoy a dazzling performance of The Underwater Bubble Show, subtitled "the unexpected journey of Mr. B in the Colorful Underwater World of Bubblelandia!" The show, which has been called "Cirque du Soleil meets giant bubbles," has thrilled audiences all over the world. The McCallum Theatre is the fourth stop on the show's first-ever USA tour.
