The Winter Park Playhouse Produces A MARVELOUS PARTY: THE NOEL COWARD CELEBRATION Just In Time For The Holidays!
The Winter Park Playhouse pays tribute to the masterful wit and ravishing melody of the incomparable Noël Coward in A Marvelous Party : The Noël Coward Celebration November 11 - December 11.
Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2 p.m. and selectWednesday, Friday and Sunday matinees at 2p.m. Specially priced performances include "Third Thursday" on December 1 at7:30p.m.(matinee price for an evening performance) and previews on Thursday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m.

You are invited to a party as sparkling as a newly-popped bottle of champagne! This evening features classic witty repartee and wonderful melodies that make an irresistibly engaging night of theatre! This effervescent musical revue is a lighthearted romp featuring thirty-three tunes and a bevy of sketches, anecdotes, writings and musings of England's Sir Noël Coward.
The professional cast features two Broadway veterans and includes Roy Alan, Laura Hodos and Larry Alexander. Steven Flaa will return to direct and choreograph and Christopher Leavy will music direct. The Playhouse trio will accompany, with Mr. Leavy on the piano, Ned Wilkinson on multiple instruments, and Sam Forrest on percussion.
"We haven't produced any of Noël Coward's shows before so we are thrilled to bring his remarkable songs and stories to Central Florida audiences this year. And with such an outstanding cast, it's going to be a "must-see" musical this holiday season!" confirms Playhouse Executive Director Heather Alexander.
Ticket prices are $40 evenings, $36 senior evenings, $30 matinees, $30 "Third Thursday" evening, $20 preview, $15 student and theatrical industry professionals. Student rush "$10@10" offers $10 tickets (for students 25 years and younger) 10 minutes prior to a performance when seats are available.
